1.  Why The Strippers Flow Over System?

The Strippers Flow Over System has been developed over 20 years of hands on experience.  It is safe to use, environmentally friendly, and is effective for almost any type of finish.  We are able to recycle until no liquid is left, just a powder of the actual paint or varnish that was removed.

2. Why a Franchise?

Owning a Franchise gives you the best of both worlds – In Business For Yourself but not By Yourself.  It is important that you get started quickly, with the right equipment, materials, skills and with money coming in the door.  We provide you with complete training on all technical aspects of the business as well as basic business training.

We are always here to answer any questions, and provide information to you on new products.  We keep you up to date on pricing guidelines and sources of material and supplies.

3.  Can I buy just The Strippers Flow Over System or just the Chemical?

The Strippers Flow Over System

No. The Strippers Flow Over System is available only to our Franchisees and Mentor Partners.

Chemicals

Our Proprietary Chemicals are available to all.  Our Franchisee’s, Mentor Partners, and Hobbyist Affiliates receive special pricing and discounts however.

4.  Can I work out of my house or garage?

No.  Most cities will not let you set up a business of this size in a residential area.  This is a full time business that requires you or your people to have regular hours so your customers can bring you their furniture.  You do not need to be in an expensive high traffic area, but you do need to be in a location that customers can easily find.

5.  How much space do I need?

You need a minimum of 1,500 sq. ft. and preferably over 2,000 sq. ft.  You should have easy access for moving in furniture including pianos.  You will want to have a small “show room” area to display your finished pieces as well as room in the same area for people to leave work to be done.  This should be separated from your workshop.

6.  Where will my customers come from?

Generally your customers come from within a 5-mile radius.  It is for this reason that we only allow Franchisees in cities with a population base of 50,000 or greater.

7.  I’m in the U.S.A.  Is it a problem to ship from Canada?

No it is not a problem.  We have shipped to Michigan and Wisconsin in the past.  We have experience in international trade and can make this easy for you.

8.  We have strict controls in our area about the environment.

We do also.  We have created the best systems and use the best products for you and the environment.  We recycle absolutely everything, including rags, containers, brushes and of course furniture.  Remember we work in our business on a day-to-day basis and we would not use a product or system if we do not feel it is safe for us!

9.  Will I be able to apply a professional sprayed on finish?

Yes.  Within days of starting your training we have you applying sealer coats of lacquer.  It takes a lot of practice to get the “feel” for spraying, so we make sure you get lots of practice.  You will know exactly how to set up, clean up and spray.  We use exactly the same equipment.  So when you get in your own shop and if you do have questions or problems, we can answer them for you.

10.  Where is the training?

We do all of the training at our head office in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.  We are about 1 hour west of Toronto, Ontario.

11.  How long is the training?

About 5 weeks to completely train you.  We say “about” because there is a lot to cover and we want to make sure you feel very comfortable about working on your customer’s furniture when you return to your shop.
